The press conference will be devoted to the possibilities of identification, mapping and<\/strong>
\nassessment of natural ecosystems and their services, as well as their application in<\/strong>
\nenvironmental assessments of hydropower projects. Participants will be introduced to the<\/strong>
\nmodern concept of ecosystem services of river basins and modern tools for their assessment.<\/strong>
\nThe results of pilot assessments for the Dniester basin and other rivers of the Eastern<\/strong>
\nPartnership countries will be presented.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 16.00<\/strong> in the conference hall of the IPN agency,
\nPrinting House, st. Pushkin 22, of. 446, the International Association of River Guardians
\n“Eco-TIRAS” will publish the results of the project “Ecosystem Services and Hydroenergy:
\nPilot Application of European Instruments in the River Basins of the Eastern Partnership
\nCountries”.<\/p>\n
