These include red-listed species, regional red-listed species and species protected by the Bern Convention.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-3912 770px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition to <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Phragmites australis<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Typha angustifolia,<\/span><\/i> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">that grow on both reservoirs, Fornosh is also the habitat of the following species:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bolboschoenus maritimus <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">agg;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trapa natans, <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">listed in the Red Data Book of Ukraine;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cyperus michelianus,<\/span><\/i> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Spergularia rubra<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lindernia procumbens <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">species that are rare in Zakarpattia and included in the Regional list of vascular plant species subject to special protection in Zakarpattia region\u00bb.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-3911 size-large\" 770px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lindernia procumbens <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is also listed in the Resolution 6 of the Bern Convention as a species requiring special conservation measures.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-3913 size-large\" aria-level=\"1\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Acorus calamus, Stachys palustris, Butomus umbellatus, Lythrum salicaria, L. virgatum, Alisma plantago-aquatica, Scutellaria galericulata, Persicaria hydropiper, Eleocharis palustris;<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Salix cinerea, Prunus spinosa, Crataegus monogyna, Sambucus nigra L., Populus tremula, Rosa sp., Swida sanguinea, Euonymus europaeus, adventive Acer negundo;<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dipsacus laciniatus, Rubus caesius, Urtica dioica, Galium aparine, Humulus lupulus, Calystegia sepium, Solanum dulcamara;\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Carex vesicaria<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">C. riparia<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Glyceria maxima<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rumex maritimus<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lysimachia vulgaris<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lycopus europaeus<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Potentilla reptans<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Persicaria mitis<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-3914 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/ekosphera.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/dsc4357-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"770\" height=\"514\" project is supported by the IKI Small Grants programme strengthening local solutions for effective climate and biodiversity action.
