The mission of the organization is to activate the environmental movement in the Carpathian region of Ukraine through ecological research, environmental education, and environmental advocacy.
Our slogan is ECOSPHERA IN SERVICE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT!
ECOSPHERE activities:
- Ecological and educational activities: Green School for children, youth programs, ecology camps, and eco publications.
- Environmental research and monitoring: aquatic ecosystems, forest ecosystems (sustainable forest management, forest policy, and FSC forest certification), and biodiversity.
- Promoting sustainable development of local communities: sustainable waste management, energy efficiency, RES development, as well as agro and ecotourism development.
- Environmental advocacy: representing interests and protecting the environmental rights of citizens.
