ESCOM (CLEEN) is a three-year project aimed at creating and developing a partnership network between public organizations of Georgia, Armenia, Moldova, and Ukraine to enhance their energy efficiency potential. The selected participating teams are working on projects that are a priority for them, such as improving their organizational skills, shaping and monitoring local energy policy, and sharing experience with international partner organizations.

The project was implemented by Ecoclub NGO (Rivne), providing mentoring support and recruiting for ESCOM network participants. Read more about the ESCOM network here.

Project area: Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia.

Through the establishment of a regional partnership network, more than 30 civil society organizations learn and receive information on energy efficiency, various energy saving opportunities, and political work in the field of renewable energy. Organizations have the opportunity to implement their local energy projects and to participate in political processes to help shape local policies.

Ecosphere results:

  1. 2 specialists in the organization on sustainable energy, energy efficiency, and budgetary relations were trained.
  2. Sustainable energy and RES development started in Uzhhorod and Transcarpathia in general.
