The study of the biodiversity of aquatic and surrounding aquatic flora and fauna of the Uzh River within the city of Uzhhorod was carried out within the framework of the Ukrainian-Slovak project HUSKROUA/1702/0005 “Joint actions for the prevention of natural disasters in the transboundary basin of the river Uz (FloodUZH)!”, which is being implemented in within the framework of the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine 2014-2020 cross-border cooperation program.
Within the framework of this cross-border project, a feasibility study (FEA) was developed for the project “Construction of a regulating structure on the Uzh River, in the city of Uzhgorod (Bozdosky Park district)” for irrigation of the Uzh River within the city of Uzhgorod in the interim period.
